Every absence from school must be formally recorded and accounted for through proper parental channels. For younger students in KG-I through Class V, leave requests must be officially completed using the prescribed leave record section inside the student's diary. Students in the older categories of Class VI to X must submit a formal written application on plain paper that has been clearly countersigned by a parent or guardian.
If a student falls sick for a period exceeding 5 consecutive days, an official application supported by a valid medical certificate must be delivered to the authority on the very first day they return to campus. Unexcused absences carry a daily fine of five rupees, whereas active truancy will result in a harsher fine of one hundred rupees or severe disciplinary actions. Any student who remains continuously absent for 30 days or more without providing official information to the school will be automatically dismissed from the rolls.
