Schemes & Promotions

The school follows the structured calendar year and continuous evaluation frameworks modelled by the state authorities. For the lower tiers spanning KG-I to Class VIII, academic performance is calculated through four periodic interventions consisting of two comprehensive Mid-Term Examinations and two major Term Examinations.

Mid-term evaluations carry a 50% weight while terminal exams carry a full 100% weight, all of which are cumulatively added at year-end to determine final promotion. For the secondary tiers in Classes IX and X, the school implements the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) framework. This incorporates four separate Periodic Tests conducted across April, June, August, and October carrying 20 marks each, alongside two major Term Tests in July and November carrying 50 marks each.

To qualify for simple promotion to the next higher class, a student must secure a minimum pass mark of 40% in each individual subject, alongside an aggregate score of 40%. In the high school division, candidates must secure at least 33% under the general CCE scheme, maintaining a strict minimum floor of 25% across both the periodic and terminal test categories separately, while clearing Work Education and Health & Physical Education with identical pass marks. Most importantly, no student will be permitted to sit for any final promotion or board examination if their cumulative school attendance drops below the mandatory minimum threshold of 75% for the year.
